Bell Aurens Longnose – Land Rover Special
I’m indulging myself in a morning of automotive absurdity. Walk with me. This is the ‘Bell Aurens Longnose’, a Land Rover of sorts, but more of a yacht. It’s massive, but then it was intended to run on the 27l Merlin engine used in the Spitfires back in WWII, however they were forced into installing a Rover V8. More here.
