European Extremely Large Telescope

Aside from the having a most unimaginative title, this looks like it could be the shit. Still, it could have been the ’Overwhelmingly Large Telescope’, which was planned to be around 100m in diameter. Also, for context, the lower photo is the proposed site, and depicts some of the view. (source)
